User Terms and Conditions
Booking Conditions
- All prices are in United States Dollars (USD).
- A 25% deposit of the total is required for all short and medium term reservations at the time of booking.
- The 75% remaining balance of the total will be payable 28 days prior to arrival.
- USD wire transfers and USD cash are accepted. When you request to book, you will be sent an email asking which method you would like to use and instructions on how to send it.
Cancellation Policy
- If a guest cancels a short or medium term reservation at least 28 days prior to the commencement of the rental, then 50% of the deposit paid is refundable.
- If the cancellation is made between 28 days and 15 days prior to arrival, the deposit is not refundable and 50% of the balance of the fees are payable.
- If cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to arrival or after the guest has arrived, the deposit and balance of the rental Is payable.
Check In and Out Times
- Check in times: 3 pm local time
- Check out times: 11 am local time
- In most cases we can be flexible with these times to fit in with our guest’s flight times.
- Guests are reminded that children under 12 are welcome but Margate Gardens is mainly an adult community.
- For the comfort of our guests, we ask that guests observe a no-smoking policy within the condo.
- We also ask guests to kindly observe the very simple and common-sense “rules” concerning life at Margate Gardens. These rules are outlined in a presentation folder awaiting your arrival. You may request a copy in advance if you wish.
- We do not ask our guests for a security deposit. Broken items should be reported to us or the Margate Gardens front office who will arrange replacement. Guests may be responsible for the cost of replacement depending on the broken item.
Liability
- Under no circumstances will we accept liability for any injury sustained to our guests or their visitors while on the premises or for loss or damage to their personal property.
